Announcements for the final week of January, 2009

Hello! Welcome to WebComics.cc, the online comic project from Community Comics.

Sorry that this update is late. We’re experimenting some with our format.

WebComics.cc is a list of webcomics that we at Community Comics want to promote to readers who are looking for fun, “all ages” comics.

NEW THIS WEEK:

THE LIBRARY:

(The WebComics.cc Library is a new addition to the site! The Library is something like a list of links, but it takes you to online comics that have already been uploaded in their entirety. These are complete stories, or complete chapters, not the single page updates that are normally featured in these announcements.)

The Adventures of the Araknid Kid

The Araknid Kid Preview

The Araknid Kid Episode 1: Kracker and Flea

Josh Alves comic about a picto-gram speaking wild-west superhero! Action and adventure from the mind and pen that brought you Tastes Like Chicken! Two Araknid Kid stories have appeare so far, and we’ve added both of them to our Library Bookshelf!

Kurt Kolka’s The Cardinal

A new page of Kurt Kolka’s adventures of The Cardinal, a comic strip that has been running in one form or another for decades now, went up Sunday.

We’re still working on making friends. Want to be our friend? If you have a high quality, family-friendly, regularly updating webcomic we’d love to take a look and see about adding it to our list. What does that mean? It means you link back to us (only if you want to) and it means that we will promote your webcomic to our readers. It’s pretty much that simple!

Please, sign up for our RSS feeds to keep up with the latest news, and once again, welcome to WebComics.cc!
