Announcements for the first week of 2009
Hello! Welcome to WebComics.cc, the online comic project from Community Comics.
Here are the updates from our own WebComics.cc projects and our friends (and we made a new friend this week — our first humor webcomic!) . . .
WEBCOMICS.CC TITLES:
Hero TV — The final page of “The Mark (Director’s Cut)” went live. Tomorrow we start posting Hero TV #0 (Hero TV: CAPES on Location) throughout the beginning of 2009.
To start from the beginning, click here: Hero TV: The Mark (The Director’s Cut).
Hero TV updates every Monday.
Chosen Mortals — A new story, Korah’s Rebellion, went live. We’ll be posting two pages of Korah’s Rebellion every week. To start Korah’s Rebellion from the beginning, click here: Chosen Mortals: Korah’s Rebellion.
Previous stories:
ArmorQuest — January 2 saw the ending of the ArmorQuest prologue. Tuesday, chapter 1 begins.
To start ArmorQuest from the beginning, click here: ArmorQuest: Genesis.
ArmorQuest updates every Tuesday and Friday.
FRIENDS OF WEBCOMICS.CC:
NEW COMIC! Boodachitaville — Every Friday, Boodachitaville posts a strangely and/or hilariously skewed view of the world through the eyes of Bob and Eric, cartoon avatars of the creators who happen to be named Bob and Eric. Topics range from religion to video games, politics to movies. You can start from the beginning here. It’s really funny stuff. Check it out!
Boodachitaville updates every Friday.
Kurt Kolka’s The Cardinal — A new page goes up today. You can start the story from the beginning here. (And watch for WebComics.cc’s presentation of The Cardinal Classic, starting from the very beginning of Kurt Kolka’s original run!)
The Cardinal updates every Sunday.
The Music of the Spheres — By Ben Avery and Kneon Transitt. Yes, that’s what you think it is. Yes, it should make sense in the context of the story. You can start reading from the beginning here.
Our list of “WebComics.cc Friends” has grown by 50%! Okay, so my math may be off . . . and that really only means we’ve added one new comic to the two old ones . . . still, that’s something!
We’re still working on making friends. Want to be our friend? If you have a high quality, family-friendly, regularly updating webcomic we’d love to take a look and see about adding it to our list. What does that mean? It means you link back to us (only if you want to) and it means that we will promote your webcomic to our readers. It’s pretty much that simple!
Please, sign up for our RSS feeds to keep up with the latest news, and once again, welcome to WebComics.cc!
