SUBMISSIONS

WebComics.cc is looking for regularly updated, quality webcomics that are “family friendly”.

Definitions:

“Webcomics”: Comics. On the web. Was it made for print first? Doesn’t matter, as long as it’s on the web now. Is it in print now? Doesn’t matter, as long as it’s on the web. If it’s comics . . . and it’s on the web . . . it qualifies.

“Regularly Updated”: We are more interested in promoting full stories or comics that are in production now. For example, since we rebooted our first spotlight was Heropotamus’s special Christmas story. This is a complete story, so even though Josh doesn’t regularly update the story, there’s a complete story there. This really only applies to story-based comics. We aren’t all that interested in promoting dead comics that have no resolution.

“Quality”: This is subjective, we know. Basically, if your webcomic is something that we find aesthetically pleasing, it’s “quality”. If not . . . it’s not.

“Family Friendly”: This simply means it has no graphic violence, overt sexuality, “naughty” language, etc. This is a completely subjective thing, and your thoughts about it may not be the same as ours. If so, we do apologize. There are a number of webcomics out there that we really enjoy, but don’t feel comfortable showcasing on our website. It’s nothing personal.

If you fit the above definitions, and we haven’t found you yet, let us know. We’ll try to get a look at your webcomic and see about spotlighting your work!
