News for the final week of December, 2008

Sunday, December 28th, 2008

Hello! Welcome to WebComics.cc, the online comic project from Community Comics.

Here are the updates from our own WebComics.cc projects and other around the web . . .

WEBCOMICS.CC TITLES:

Hero TV — The new page that went up last week is the penultimate page for this story, “The Mark (Director’s Cut)”. The finale will appear tomorrow, the 29th. After that, we will begin posting Hero TV #0 throughout the beginning of 2009.

To start from the beginning, click here: Hero TV: The Mark (The Director’s Cut).

Chosen Mortals — Meanwhile, our Christmas story (”Good News”) wrapped up on Wednesday. This coming Wednesday, we’ll be starting a new story arc!

To read Good News from the beginning, click here: Chosen Mortals: Good News.

ArmorQuest — ArmorQuest went live on the 26th (albeit with some technical difficulties). New pages will be going up every day until January 2nd, when we begin our regular schedule of a new page every Tuesday and Friday.

To start ArmorQuest from the beginning, click here: ArmorQuest: Genesis.

FRIENDS OF WEBCOMICS.CC:

Kurt Kolka’s The Cardinal — A new page goes up today. New pages go up every Sunday. You can start the story from the beginning here. (And watch for WebComics.cc’s presentation of The Cardinal Classic, starting from the very beginning of Kurt Kolka’s original run!)

The Music of the Spheres — By Ben Avery and Kneon Transitt. Two new pages have gone up since our last update. You can start reading from the beginning here.

Yeah, our list of “WebComics.cc Friends” is small. We’re still working on making friends. Want to be our friend? If you have a high quality, family-friendly, regularly updating webcomic we’d love to take a look and see about adding it to our list. What does that mean? It means you link back to us if you want to and it means that we will promote your webcomic to our readers. It’s pretty much that simple!

Please, sign up for our RSS feeds to keep up with the latest news, and once again, welcome to WebComics.cc!
